Almost everyone who has spend some vacations away from home, has considered , at some point, long-time travel. If others can do it, I can do it , as well, right? Long-term travel eventually does end… so you should be prepared to get back home and to the “usual” routine. It can be depressive. And speaking of… long-term travel is addictive. The adrenaline rush and the different live style can surely send you off track. Used to be the 9 to 5 worker? Out the window it goes!
When you consider such a vacation, make sure to ask all the questions possible (and impossible); would I be able to earn money on the road? Do the money I already have last enough? Am I prepared for culture shocks? How easily do I get lonely? Should I travel with a partner? What if I get sick on the road?
